Our Values
Four principles that shape how we observe, build, and share.
What guides us
Built on intention, not impulse
Everything at EverydayEarth is guided by four core values. They shape the technology we build, the stories we tell, and the way we encourage people to interact with the natural world.
Share
Wonder grows when it is passed along. We believe the best observations are the ones you share with a neighbor, a friend, or a stranger who lives down the road. EverydayEarth is built for openness — making it easy to invite others into the experience of watching and learning together.
Observe
Paying attention is the first act of care. Before understanding, before action, there is simply the practice of watching. We build tools that help people observe patiently and without interference — letting nature reveal itself on its own terms, in its own time.
Care
Attention leads to empathy, and empathy leads to stewardship. When you watch a bird raise its young in your yard, you start to care about the tree it nests in, the insects it eats, the water it drinks. We design every experience to nurture that quiet, growing sense of responsibility.
Respect
We are guests in these habitats, not owners. Our cameras observe without disturbing. Our technology serves the animal, not just the audience. Respect means putting wildlife wellbeing first — always — and designing systems that honor the boundaries between observation and intrusion.
In practice
Values in action

- Stories and insights are shared freely with the community
- Habitat recommendations prioritize native species and ecological balance
