By using EverydayEarth, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
What EverydayEarth Is
EverydayEarth is a platform for observing, documenting, and sharing moments from the natural world — wildlife, habitats, and the living places around you. It is a community for people who pay attention to nature where they live.
Your Account
You sign in using a third-party provider (Google or Amazon). You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account. Do not share your credentials or allow others to access your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you submit — habitat descriptions, observation notes, images, and videos. By submitting content, you grant EverydayEarth a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content within the platform and to other users.
You are solely responsible for the content you post. Do not submit content that:
- Infringes any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right
- Contains illegal, harmful, or threatening material
- Misrepresents locations, species, or observations
- Is generated with the intent to deceive or mislead the community
Acceptable Use
You agree to use EverydayEarth only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm others or the platform. You may not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data at scale without written permission
- Use the platform to spam, harass, or mislead other users
- Interfere with or disrupt platform infrastructure
- Use automated tools to create accounts or generate content in bulk
AI-Generated Content
EverydayEarth uses AI to generate narrations and summaries about habitats and moments. These are provided for informational and educational enjoyment. AI-generated content may not always be accurate. Do not rely on it for scientific, legal, or professional purposes.
Camera & Media Integrations
If you connect third-party cameras or media devices (such as Blink or Nest), you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share that content and that doing so complies with all applicable laws, including those relating to surveillance, privacy, and recording.
Intellectual Property
The EverydayEarth name, logo, interface design, and platform software are owned by EverydayEarth and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from them without written permission.
Disclaimers
EverydayEarth is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, data retention, or the accuracy of any content on the platform.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EverydayEarth shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Continued use of EverydayEarth after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We will update the “Last updated” date when changes are made.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the applicable courts of the United States.
