Three steps to your first Field Note

Up and running in minutes

EverydayEarth supports connected cameras via direct account linking, cameras with real-time push notifications, and manual upload for trail cameras or SD card footage. If your camera captures motion, it will work here.

Step 1

Sign in and create your habitat

Sign in with your existing account — no password needed. Then create your first habitat: give it a name, describe the space you are observing (a nest box, a backyard, a garden bed), and choose whether it is public or private. The habitat is the home for everything your camera captures.

Step 2

Connect your camera

In your habitat settings, choose how your camera connects. Supported smart home cameras link via a one-time account authorization and EverydayEarth handles the rest automatically. If you use a trail camera or save to an SD card, you can upload clips or photos directly — the same AI analysis runs either way.

Step 3

Watch your habitat come to life

Once connected, EverydayEarth runs automatically. Every motion clip is analyzed by AI — species identified, behavior described, seasonal context noted. Observations are grouped into Moments on your Timeline, and every morning a new daily Field Note is waiting for you: narrated, cinematic, and ready to watch.
